Licensing & Sales: The Fortunato 5, (BOT+) Break-Open Tickets+ are conducted and managed by The Royal Canadian Legion, Ontario Command under a Provincial Lottery License from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). Participating Royal Canadian Legion Branches operate strictly as authorized retail sellers registered with the AGCO.
Age Restriction: Purchaser must be 18 years of age or older to purchase or redeem a ticket. Proof of age may be required at the time of purchase or redemption.
Defective or Misprinted Tickets Null & Void: Tickets containing printing errors, misprints, illegible symbols, missing barcodes, missing identifying marks, mechanical/production defects, or unauthorized alterations are strictly null and void.
No Winnings Paid on Defective Tickets: No prize money, claims, or compensation will be paid or awarded on any ticket that is determined to be defective, counterfeit, forged, altered, unreadable, produced in error, or otherwise invalid under AGCO regulatory standards.
Verification & Authority: The physical ticket is the only valid proof of purchase. The Royal Canadian Legion, Ontario Command and its retail sellers reserve the right to audit and verify any ticket prior to awarding a prize. The decision of The Royal Canadian Legion, Ontario Command regarding ticket validity, prize claims, and regulatory compliance is final and binding. Local Branch personnel have no authority to alter these conditions.
Prize Redemptions & Claims: All instant winning tickets must be redeemed in person at the selling Branch during active deal sales or within the claim window specified under AGCO guidelines. Prizes will not be awarded for lost, stolen, or destroyed tickets. Raffle, BAZEENGOH!®, and other larger prize amounts must be redeemed through The Royal Canadian Legion, Ontario Command’s outlined processes through the execution of a prize redemption form.
Maximum Liability: The sole remedy for a ticket confirmed to have a manufacturing or printing defect is limited strictly to the replacement of the defective ticket with a new unplayed ticket of equal purchase price, at the discretion of The Royal Canadian Legion, Ontario Command.
