  • Past Branch President 2000-2002. Held several chairs prior to becoming Branch President, Sports, PRO., Bar, House and Chair. & Pres. of Dart League.
  • Elected Deputy C-3 Zone Commander 2005, Zone C-3 Commander 2007.
  • Elected Deputy Dist. C Commander 2009, District C Commander 2011. Served as a member of ABC Tri-District Hospital Comm.
  • 2015 Elected Vice President, Ontario Command, re-elected 2017.
  • 2019 Elected 1st. Vice President, Ontario Command, the first of two 3-year Covid Terms.
  • During the VP Terms served on numerous chairs, YEd., Bursary, T & F. Membership, Cadet Liaison, also active in Property, Homeless Veterans Program and CF.
  • 2022 Elected Provincial President, Ontario Command until May 2025, the 2nd. 3-year Covid Term.
  • As Provincial President served on Dominion Executive Council, Membership committee and Vice Chair of the Poppy and Remembrance Committee.
  • Awards attained, Life Membership 2009, 2012 Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal and most recently in 2025, the King Charles Coronation Medal and also received the Legion’s highest award, the MSM that same year.
  • Also the Founding and current member of the Mount Forest Heritage Society. Play darts and as a sideline I like to play the drums, very relaxing!
  • Happily married to Trish [Patricia] for 44 years with two children, Lisa and Patrick who provided us with 5 Grandchildren, 4 boys and one very lucky girl.
